Does red light therapy work?!

There are countless personal testimonials and over 3,000 scientific studies that have proved the efficacy of red light therapy. 

Can I get tanned from red light therapy?

No. Red light therapy does not contain ultraviolet (UV) light, which is associated with tanning. Red & NIR light therapy is NOT the same as tanning beds. Tanning beds use UV rays, while our red light therapy uses red & near infrared light.

What should I wear during treatment?

Red and infrared light to more surface area of your body leads to better light therapy outcomes, but full nudity is not required for effective use. Lighter garments (underwear, bras, and socks) may be worn without hampering a treatment, though the covered areas not exposed directly to the light will not receive maximum benefits.

Do I need to where eye protection ?

Not necessarily, however we  provide eye protection that you can use.

Can red light therapy cause skin cancer?

No. There are no UV rays in Red Light Therapy.
Skin cancer can be caused by exposure to UV wavelengths. Unlike Red Light Therapy, which carries many healing benefits for the skin. Red light therapy does produce UV .

What will I feel? Is it hot?

NIR light does produce some heat, so you will experience a feeling of warmth. A quick energy boost or feeling of euphoria is also possible.

Will the treatment interfere with or be affected by any medications I use?

If you use medications such as Tetracycline, Digoxin (used for heart irregularities) and photosensitizing drugs (e.g., tranquilizers, sulfa drugs, oral anti-diabetic drugs, antidepressants, and steroids), please consult your physician before using Red Light.

Is there a weight limit?

Yes, our bed has a weight limit of 105 kg / 16.5 stone
